Horizontal cylinder jet diffusers have a fixed outer frame with an adjustable cylinder core providing vertical air direction adjustment and containing vertical blades to provide horizontal diffusion.  Cylinder diffusers may be used in vertical applications if required.

Application
Cylinder jet diffusers may be used for both cooling and heating applications and are specially designed for use in large areas such as shopping malls, gymnasiums, arenas etc, where it is desired to have controlled ventilation over a long throw area.

Materials
Extruded aluminium frame, cylinder core and adjustable blades, with sheet end enclosures and silicone treated polypropylene bristle cylinder seal.

Construction
Outer frames are mitred and joined by mechanical cleating.

Finish
Available in natural anodised, as standard.  An extensive range of painted finishes are available to RAL or BS colours.

Dampers
Opposed blade dampers can be fitted to the cylinder core for volume balancing.  Alternatively, dampers may be supplied for fitting into ductwork behind the cylinder diffuser.

Cylinders can rotate through 360° 
for cleaning with or without fitted damper. 

Sizes
175 small format cylinder is available in nominal width sizes in 75mm increments.
275 large format cylinder is available in nominal width sizes in 125mm increments.

Ordering sizes are nominal opening sizes.  Nominal sizes allow for fitting tolerances to opening or duct of that size.
