Double Deflection Grilles and Registers
DD Series

DD Series
Extruded aluminium double deflection grille with two banks of individually adjustable blades.

Blades are 5mm wide, 21mm deep on a 20mm pitch.

Applications
DD series grilles are the most versatile type available, offering efficiency, adjustability and moderate cost.  We have provided considerable guidance in the notes to selection data but it is impossible to cover the numerous applications of this product.  Our technical staff will be pleased to advise further.

Double Deflection Grille

Materials
Extruded Aluminium.

Construction
Frames are mitred and can be joined either by argon-arc welding or mechanical cleating.

Finish
Standard finish is baked enamel silver or our standard white.

An extensive range of coloured finishes are available including anodised frames on mechanically cleated grilles.

Fixings
Standard
Countersunk face fixing holes for screw fixing.

Optional
Concealed bracket or spring clips.

 Sizes
100 x 100 to 1200 x 1200 in 25 mm increments.  Special sizes are available.

Mullions
Blade pivot mullions are supplied for nominal blade lengths over 500mm to ensure rigidity.

Dampers
Opposed blade dampers can be fitted for volume balancing.  Damper operation is by concealed screw cam.

Ordering
Sizes are assumed to be nominal width x height unless otherwise indicated on your order.
Nominal sizes allow fitting tolerance to opening or duct of that size.

SDH
Single deflection grille with horizontal blades.

SDV
Single deflection grille with vertical blades.

R
Appended to either of the above references indicates a fitted opposed blade damper.
